Dismantling a fine Portland stone portico

MASCo's specialist dismantling team were commissioned to recover this fine Portland stone portico from a private residence in an elegant tree-lined avenue in Hampstead, London.

The ornately carved 13ft high colonnade was being removed to create space for a new extension to the London mansion. With a brief stop at the MASCo yard in the Cotswolds, the portico was carefully packed and dispatched to a new home in the country.
